Support East Tech Alumni Scholarships

East Tech Alumni Association is currently fundraising to help support existing scholarships that will be given to graduating seniors. These scholarships provides financial support to seniors and also recognizing individuals who have made an impact at East Tech.
By end of April, our goal is to fundraise $3K to support the scholarships below.
Scholarships
The Alumni Association has been involved with supporting these scholarships for the past 2 years. The scholarships below are named after individuals that have made an impact at East Tech.
The Glenda Goetting Scholarship: Named for our founding principal, a student applying for this scholarship must have some on-campus or community based leadership experience.
The Mayra Verduzco Memorial Scholarship: Named for a fallen Titan from the Class of 2012, a student who was a young mom and a model Titan. Any student applying for this scholarship will need to be able to discuss what being a Titan means to them.
The Alexis Monasterio Memorial Scholarship: Named for a fallen Titan from the Class of 2013 who made a HUGE impact on East Tech’s Culinary Program and on the campus as a whole. This scholarship is open ONLY to current CULINARY seniors.
The Trisha Benson Memorial Scholarship: Named in honor of a long-time science teacher at East Tech. This scholarship is for students who want to go into teaching.
The Robert H. Cooley Memorial Scholarship: Named in honor of an incredible Technical Arts (woodworking, construction and more) teacher who taught in CCSD, and inspired the next generation of teachers to follow in his footsteps and continue to pass down his passion for the technical trades. One of his students is Mr. Fausto Vega, who has created this scholarship in his honor. This scholarship is open to students pursuing a career in construction or in the technical trades, or in teaching.
The Dawn Knight New Memorial Scholarship: Named in honor of a long-time CCSD support professional who made a HUGE impact on East Tech and on all of the students and families she served.
