The East Tech Alumni Association is a volunteer-based organization whose sole focus is to connect alumni, build an alumni network, and figure out ways to give back to East Tech.

Have you just recently graduated or want to learn more about the Alumni Association? The association has compiled a list of questions that will
help navigate the world of being an alumni.

If you want to visit your former teachers, please reach out to Mrs. Rawson via email at rawsojp@nv.ccsd.net to schedule your visit. Due to CCSD policy, if you show up at East Tech without an official approval, you will be asked to leave.

The East Tech Alumni Association helps connect East Tech graduates with the East Tech community. The association assists with raising funds for scholarships, volunteer for various projects at East Tech, and keep every graduate connected.

The alumni association is led by a coalition of alumni and East Tech faculty.

Annie Bellorin

Alumni Board Member – Finance & Events/Workshops Lead
Annie graduated from East Tech in 2013 from the Culinary Arts Program. Annie went on to graduate from UNLV in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance as well as becoming a CPA. Annie was an auditor after graduation and is now an Accounting and Reporting Manager for Marshall Retail Group.

Annie’s favorite memory from East Tech cannot be limited to just one point. Annie would have to say her Culinary classes during senior year were the ones she looked forward to the most. Annie’s goal with the Association is to help the Association reach their fundraising goals so the Association can continue to give back to the East Tech alumni, teachers, and current students.

April Carrillo

Alumni Board Member – Service Project Lead
April graduated East Tech in 2012 from the Marketing & Hospitality Program. April went on to graduate from UNLV with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Meetings and Events. She is currently working at Ethel M Chocolates. April has so many good memories at East Tech, so it’s hard to share just one. A memory she recalls all the time was at Senior Sunset when Mrs. Rawson read Oh, The Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss. April’s goal with the Association is to give back to East Tech which gave April so much.

Nicholas Huynh

Alumni Board Member – Operations Lead
Nicholas graduated East Tech in 2012 from the Marketing & Hospitality Program. Nicholas went on to graduate from UNLV with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Global Entrepreneurship. He is currently a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Scientific Games, and volunteers his time with OCA Las Vegas and UNLV Collegiate DECA. Nicholas’ favorite memory of East Tech was competing at the Nevada DECA State Career Development Conference, and eventually won a spot to compete at the 2012 ICDC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Additionally, Nicholas reminisces the time when the Cafe Bleu Mont used to be open. Nicholas’ goal with the Association is to develop a network of alumni who continues to help each other and the East Tech community, similar to his experiences at East Tech where everyone supported each other to succeed on top of the mountain.

Randy Huynh

Alumni Board Member – Website & Email Lead
Randy graduated East Tech in 2012 from the Marketing & Hospitality Program. Randy went on to graduate from UNLV with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Global Entrepreneurship. He currently works for a natural cosmetic start-up company in Las Vegas. Randy’s favorite memory of East Tech were the fun times at the Halloween Carnivals, marketing competition trips, and friends/teachers he met at East Tech that have always encouraged him to be positive and explore better opportunities. Randy’s goal with the Association is to become the first registered non-profit Alumni Association for a high school in Las Vegas.

Denisse Labori

Alumni Board Member
Denisse graduated in 2012 from the Marketing & Hospitality program. Denisse was DECA Student of the year for 2010-2011. In 2018 she graduated from Capella University with a Bachelors of Science in Finance. Denisse currently works at Nevada State Bank as a Branch Service Manager. “I have a lot of wonderful memories from high school! Senior year was definitely my most cherished, full of lifelong memories. It’s about transitioning from childhood to adulthood and making big decisions. Talk about exciting and terrifying, all at the same time.” The reason Denisse is with the alumni association is as a repayment for all the great lifelong lessons that the school has provided as well as the caring teachers and diverse campus.

Juleus Ramiro

Alumni Board Member – Membership Lead
Juleus graduated East Tech in 2012 from the Culinary Arts Program. Juleus went on to graduate from Johnson & Wales University – Denver with an Associates of Science in Culinary Arts. He currently works as a cook at Zen Kitchen in Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas. Juleus’ favorite memory of East Tech was winning back-to-back ProStart State Championships and taking 5th place at Nationals. Juleus also recalls the time his class sang “If you’re happy and you know it” in Mrs. Rawson’s class. Juleus’ goal with the Association is to create a tight-knit community that connects, celebrates, and supports alumni from all corners of the world.

Natalia Tinoco

Alumni Board Member
Natalia graduated from East Tech in 2012 from the Sports Medicine program. She went on to graduate from UNLV with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She also has a masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. She is currently a third grade teacher for the Clark County School District.

Natalia’s favorite memory from East Tech was being part of the start of SOL Club and participating in school events with her fellow peers.

Danielle Oliveros

Alumni Board Member
Danielle graduated East Tech in 2012 from the Medical Program. Danielle went on to graduate from Kaplan College with an associates in nursing in 2016. She currently works in drug addiction rehab and psychiatry and has recently worked as a travel nurse in New England during COVID. Danielle’s favorite memories were being involved in Student Council as Student Body President 2011-2012 and theater, as she was in nearly every show at East Tech. As Social Director, she hopes to bring current students and alumni together by planning events and building a merch store.
